Comic-Con 2010!!! “Avatar,” “Inception,” and more!

Nickelodeon will produce a new animated series “The Legend of Korra” continuing the saga of “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” Creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko will oversee the production, which will premiere in 2011. Read more at AWN here.

Sad news…animator Priscillano Romanillos has passed away. Mr. Romanillos previously worked on “Pocahontas,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Spirit,” and “Shrek.” He was 47. Read more at the LA Times.
Heat Vision reports that an upcoming Dark Horse comic will be adapted into a movie. Entitled “The Strange Case of Hyde,” the story follows Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in a dark adventure.
